The newspaper quoted president of the China Toy Association, as saying that porcelain dolls export, mainly affected by the severe acute respiratory syndrome in May and June last year, showed increase momentum in July and is expected to set an annual record high.

China comapnies would link to export the porcelain dolls. I think this is mainly because that the porcelain dolls has varity expression on the face, and they can make lots of poses.

An international porcelain dolls, model and present exhibition will be held, so far nearly 100 domestic and international famous porcelain dolls brands.

They believe that the exhibition will provide a good opportunity for China to promote its own plush toy brands and stimulate the entire china toy industry.

With about 8,000 toy plants, China now stands as the world’s largest toy manufacturer, producing 75 percent of world toys, and exports toy to more than 100 countries and regions. In 2002, China’s toy export reached 9.9 billion US dollars.
